We seek a skilled Painter to join our team, responsible for delivering high-quality painting services in both residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a passion for craftsmanship, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. This role requires proficiency in various painting techniques and familiarity with construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Ensure all work is completed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople on construction sites to ensure seamless project execution.
• Read and interpret schematics and project plans to determine the scope of work.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition and report any issues promptly.
• Assist with frame carpentry tasks as needed to support overall project goals.
• Provide input on construction estimating for painting projects to ensure accurate budgeting.

Experience

• Proven experience in residential painting or similar roles is required.
• Familiarity with hand tools and equipment used in painting and construction is essential.
• Experience with stucco application is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic construction site protocols and safety practices is preferred.
• Ability to build or weld may be beneficial for specific projects but is not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with others in a team environment are essential.
