This Privacy Notice describes how American Developer Group, LLC and its affiliates (collectively “American Developer Group” or “We”) collect, use, share, and protect information about you through its website (the “Site”), and services that reference this Privacy Notice (together “Services”). This Notice contains important privacy disclosures. By using Services, you are consenting to the practices described in this Privacy Notice.

WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION ABOUT CUSTOMERS DOES AMERICAN DEVELOPER GROUP COLLECT?

When you interact with services, we collect your personal information to provide and continually improve our services.

Information you provide us: Contact and identification information (name, address, telephone number, email address, driver’s license number, date of birth, and Social Security number); payment information (payment card number and expiration date); demographic information (age, gender, income range, and occupation); financial information (submitted on credit applications for our services); details about your property and projects (photographs, videos, blueprints, and renovation plans); and employment information (submitted on a job application).

Automatic collection: We automatically collect and store certain types of information about your use of Services, including interaction with products, content, and services available through Services. Like many websites, we use cookies, web server logs, web beacons, and other unique identifiers.

Information from other sources: American Developer Group may receive information about you from other sources, as explained below.

USE OF ANALYTICS AND TRACKING TOOLS

To improve our services and better understand how users interact with our website, we use tracking and analytics tools, including Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel.

Google Analytics:
We use Google Analytics to collect information about how visitors use our Site. Google Analytics collects data such as your IP address, browser type, pages visited, time spent on pages, and other metrics. This data helps us analyze site usage and improve user experience. Google Analytics may also place cookies on your device to assist with these functions.

Facebook Pixel:
Our website uses Facebook Pixel, a small JavaScript code provided by Facebook, to track user behavior on our Site. This tool allows us to:
a) Collect data about website visitors (e.g., pages visited, purchases, and other actions).

b) Deliver personalized advertisements to users on Facebook and Instagram based on their interactions with our website.

e) Verifying and processing payments for “Handyman for a Day” through our payment processor(s) (e.g., Stripe) and preventing fraud or unauthorized transactions.

Transactional Communications:
We send essential messages required to complete your service or booking, including confirmations, reminders, receipts, and account updates. These messages are not marketing and do not require separate consent.

Marketing Communications:
We may send you marketing emails about our services (including “Handyman for a Day”) only if you have opted in. You may opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in our emails. Targeted advertising via analytics/advertising tools (e.g., Google and Meta) can be controlled through your cookie settings or browser preferences.

HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION

We do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer personally identifiable information to unaffiliated third parties without your consent, except in the following cases:

Service Providers and Business Partners:
We may share your information with companies that provide services on our behalf or that jointly provide services to you.

Payments and Booking Processors: 

We use third-party payment processors (e.g., Stripe) to securely process payments for “Handyman for a Day.” These providers act as our service providers. American Developer Group does not store full payment card numbers or CVV codes; such data is handled by the processor in accordance with PCI-DSS requirements.

Communications and Notifications: 

We use email delivery providers to send transactional messages (such as booking confirmations and receipts). For internal operational alerts (for example, notifying our team about a new booking), we may use messaging platforms (such as Telegram) that receive limited order details necessary to coordinate your service.

Additional Providers: 

We also engage customer relationship management, e-signature, email/SMS delivery, hosting, and analytics/advertising providers to support our operations. We share only the minimum necessary information for them to perform services on our behalf, pursuant to contractual data protection obligations.

Legal and Security:
We may disclose your information if required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of our customers or others.

Sale or Transfer of Business:
In the event of a sale or transfer of our business, your information may be transferred to the new entity.

FLORIDA-SPECIFIC PRIVACY DISCLOSURE

In compliance with the Florida Information Protection Act (FIPA) and other applicable Florida laws:

Protection of Property-Related Data:
Any property-related data (such as photographs, videos, blueprints, or renovation plans) collected during your project will be securely stored and shared only with authorized personnel or subcontractors directly involved in the project. Unauthorized access or sharing is strictly prohibited.

Data Breach Notification:
In the event of a data breach involving your personal information, you will be notified within 30 days of discovery, as required by Florida law. Notifications will include the nature of the breach, the affected data, and steps you can take to protect yourself.

Subcontractor Compliance:
All subcontractors and service providers are contractually obligated to adhere to the same data protection standards outlined in this Privacy Policy. Subcontractors may only use the information for the purposes specified in their contracts with us.

Retention of Data:
Personal information is retained only as long as necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Property-related data will be retained for a minimum of five (5) years, as required by Florida's construction documentation regulations. After this retention period, personal information and property-related data are securely deleted or anonymized.

Booking and Payment Records: Transactional records related to “Handyman for a Day” (including booking details, invoices/receipts, and payment confirmations) are retained as required for accounting, tax, and legal compliance. Operational notifications (e.g., internal Telegram alerts) are retained only as long as necessary to coordinate your service and ensure service quality.

Portfolio Photos and Videos: In connection with “Handyman for a Day,” we may document completed work with photos or videos for quality control and portfolio purposes. We do not publish personally identifiable information, exact addresses, or sensitive interior details without consent. You may request that your project media not be used for marketing by contacting us at customercare@americadgroup.com.

CHILDREN’S (COPPA) PRIVACY POLICY NOTICE

American Developer Group does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13, in compliance with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

DO NOT TRACK

We do not collect personally identifiable information about your online activities over time or across third-party websites, except when you have provided consent.

TCPA CONSENT AND WAIVER

By providing your telephone number, you consent to receive automated or prerecorded calls and SMS messages related to account management or service updates. You may also receive marketing communications if you have opted in, which you can opt out of at any time. 

Transactional communications (e.g., booking confirmations, reminders, and receipts) will be sent regardless of marketing consent.

SECURITY / DATA PROTECTION 

We use industry-standard security measures and rely on PCI-DSS compliant payment processors (e.g., Stripe) for payment transactions. We minimize the personal information shared with operational tools (including Telegram) to what is necessary to coordinate your service.
